Queen’s University was founded by the royal charter of Queen Victoria in 1841, making the university 26 years older than Canada itself. It’s ranked as the eigth best university in Canada.
The university is a leader for edge physics, cancer research, geoengineering, data analytics, surveillance studies, social science and mental health research. The professors are also known to be approachable which is what any student needs when it comes to their studies.

The university has state-of-the-art facilities and for anyone interested in studying medicine, there is a teaching hospital connected to Queen’s University via tunnels. This hospital is quite large and is actually one of the two major hospitals serving the city of Kingston, Ontario.
Another plus for graduates is that through employee surveys, Queen’s University is said to rank fifth in Canada for employment rate with 90 percent of the students finding a job within six months of graduation.
